In Jyväskylä high-quality national cybersecurity development and research have been carried out for years.
At the same time general awareness has been left at the feet of practical busyness. In addition, Europe’s dramatically changed security environment puts cybersecurity know-how in the center. More professionals and joint plans are needed to meet the needs of Jyväskylä’s strong cyber security operators, in order to secure the area’s development and operational capacity.
The aim of the project is to increase the national and international visibility of cyber security expertise in Central Finland.
In finnish the Raising the Profile of Cybersecurity Expertise of Central Finland -project is called Keski-Suomen kyberturvallisuusosaamisen tunnettavuuden kasvattaminen (KSKTK).
The Project has been divided in four work packages:
- The awareness of region’s high quality education, research & development and business services in cyber security has increased.
- Arrange Cyber Security events for experts and general public in Central Finland.
- Raising the profile of region’s universities in cyber security awareness and expertise.
- Central Finland cyber security expertise has been widely raised in different social media platforms.
