Frequently asked questions

Who are the funders and partners of business sector cyber exercises?

Business sector exercises are usually funded by National Emergency Supply Agency who also decides the participating organizations to exercise. JYVSECTEC will facilitate, plan, conduct, and analyze the exercise. However, the business sector exercise can also be conducted if participating organizations are willing to cover the costs of the exercise.

How will value and supply chains between organizations be implemented for the exercise?

Exercise environment is created as part of RGCE to replicate as closely as possible the real life. This includes realistic business services, processes, and data within the organization and between the organizations.

How is confidentiality ensured in the implementation of the exercise?

The business sector exercise focuses on sharing knowledge and information on handling the malicious actions by threat actors. The environment does not include the real confidential data of organizations but replicates it therefore participants don’t have access to other organizations’ real data. If needed, the parties involved in the exercise can also establish a non-disclosure agreement.
