Developing the DLL-hijacking attack technique as attack vector for cyber security exercises

This article examines DLL-hijacking and how it can be used by threat actors as an attack vector in cyber security exercises. The skills and knowledge were partly acquired at the Disobey 2024 event and are applied to development of real attack techniques for cyber security exercises. This article contains an example of developed realistic DLL-hijacking attack scenario for cyber security exercises.
