Our research, development and innovation (RDI) activities foster national and international collaboration, strengthening cooperation across borders. Projects are typical form of implementation for our research and development work, as this approach ensures a swift and high-quality results.

Focus of our RDI-activities
Our research, development and innovation (RDI) activities cover the development of cyber security, artificial intelligence and data analytics, and are driven by the green transition, technological advancements, digitalisation, and ensuring security of supply.
We have built various environments for research and development, including a unique cyber security RGCE (Realistic Global Cyber Environment) environment, and HPC (high-performance computing) environment. The environments are further developed and are currently utilized in several of our projects.
Our research focuses especially on threats and protection measures related to cyber security. The research focuses on analyzing cyber security exercises, AI assisted observation, developing cyber security education and evaluation of training activities and impacts.
